The Jigawa State Governor, Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has inspected various ongoing road projects within the State, charging construction firms to increase the pace of work on infrastructural projects in the state.
Governor Badaru inspected the Gagarawa – Mai Sheda – Damaski – Mai Kirabo – Madaka – Mallam Baki – Kangarwa – Bosuwa Road Projects and spur from Madaka – Mai Kilili covering 29.75 kilometers.
Other road projects inspected were that of Malam Madori Township Roads and drainages.
The governor who said his government was determined to take development to the people of the state despite the economic recession, disclosed that a lot of roads and other projects are either on-going or ready for commissioning.
While commending the construction firms handling the road projects on the quality and standard of work, Governor Badaru charged them to speed up work so as to meet the time schedule.
